This is an RPG, Role Playing Game.
Of course, everyone is welcome to come up with their own plots, in fact we strongly encourage it!
But so you know, we also have a large scale plot working in the background as well, thus the use of NPC's and other means, to get this plot moving along.
Threads that are started that have something to do with the major plot will, after the thread Subject will be a <P> which stands for Plot, of course.
So, say the post is called 'Hanging out at the Tavern'. If it has something to do with the major plot, it'll look like
Hanging out at the Tavern <P>
Now, if you have a personal plot, that's just fine! If you wish this 'personal plot' to include only certain characters, make sure that you discuss this through private IM with the person you want to join or in the RP discussion board. Then make sure that you put a <C> in the name, for 'Closed'. Take that same thread name, only opened to certain character's it would look like:
Hanging out at the Tavern <C>
Alright! There's also things in a role play that can be considered 'mature' material. Of course, most people immediately think doing the 'XXX' is what I'm talking about... of course it is!
.. nah, well, there's that, and language, and strong violence or subjects people may be sensitive to. If you feel that possibly you might be approaching mature material, please put a <M> tag on the subject line.So...

Alright, now for more on your personal plots. Personal plots are different from the Main Plot, as lighty touched at the beginning of this explaination. Personal plots are ones created by the characters of Illiria rather than the Admins (myself, Symph, Rumor, Azreal). For THESE if they portain to something you feel is important to your character, mark them with a <PP> tag.Sooooo...

Of course sometimes you can't tell if it's going to take a turn for the mature or not. The person who STARTED the thread has the ability to go to the very first post and change the subject name so it includes the Mature tag. If that person isn't availible, get your mits on one of the admins and we'll square it away ^_^
Sometimes, it might include more than one, or even all three tags! In that case, just make it something like:
Hanging out at the Tavern <P,C,M>
Make sense? Sure hope it does!
