Water Region - Northern Realm (6 sub-boards) The realm to the north is home to the Undines, the water elementals having effected the area greatly. Capped with snow, rainy seasons, cool weather and mountain regions, the 'pristine' land of the north is relatively undisturbed in comparison to the other three regions as it is closest to the land merely known as 'Paradise' by the common folk. Fire Region - Western Realm (5 sub-boards) The region where the Salamander's influence seems to thrive, this place is packed full of the dry heat of dusty deserts, namely the Valley of Fire. Strange creatures and magic's seem to surround this area, and the people who live here seem to have a life shrouded by alluring mystery. This area is rich in fabrics, and known for harboring many ingredients for magical transmutations, not to mention the Alchemist's Guild can be found somewhere in the western Realm. Air Region- East Realm (5 sub-boards) Great mountains reach to the sky in tall spires of earth, and the wind howls like a beast here in the region where the Sylph's power comes to play. The folk here seem reclusive, though still kind, and keen on the trade of artistic finery. There are many mystery's and legends about the mists and fogs that surround the peeks of the mountains, even that of a floating city, but nothing conclusive. Most people, though, travel to the air region for one reason: to see if they are worthy to come before the great oracle and have their most pressing questions of life answered by the Oracle's divine knowledge. Earth Region - Southern Realm (5 sub-boards) The southern region; the humidity is so thick in the air that you feel you may drown in your own city merely for walking in the streets. Here is a stewpot of cultures, where many collide, particularly those of a shady orientation. Many port cities riddle this tropic area, and to the north of the region one can find marshes and swamps. Âme Perdue, Forest of Lost Souls is also found in this half forsaken land, and though one would think this area to be a place of misery, with it's atrocious crime rate and peddling of illegal goods (including that of slavery), it seems to be the most economically sound area of the land, besides the Kingdom itself. In the southern realm, the power of the Gnomes reign supreme in elemental influence. Moderators: Janus, Symph, Fimbulwinter, Acies Valdun
Oceans and Seas (3 sub-boards) All the large bodies of water in the Land of Illiria worth mentioning. Here is where you will find the many ocean and sea related adventures; as boats are one of Illiria's main forms of transportation, second only to steam engines. Where some bodies of water are serene, or containing magic properties, rare fish, and other intriguing matters, others are monster ridden... filled with Krakken, giant squids, sea beasts and other mentionable terrors of the sea. Illirion (4 sub-boards) The grand city within the center of the land, known as Illirion. Here is the heart of the kingdom, where the Castle of Morduex sets within this heart of hearts. It is a place of celebration, and rests ontop a large body of water. Indeed, versus the use of carts and carriages, most people here travel the streets via gondola's on the different channels between the clusters of buildings. This place is the center of all things, and all elements come together in balance and harmony. The outside walls of the city tower over seventy five feet, gleeming in pure white marble. Other Parts of the Realm (3 sub-boards) You will find the other parts of the world of Illiria here, that are not part of the regions. For example, you will find the Umbra here, which lies south of the continent (and unseen on the map), The Nether Region, which is a place of spiritual awareness, and the Bensen Citadel that is rumoured to be a fortress in the sky and roams over the lands.
